Move-Out 2025
Move-Out Date & Time
Your official move-out date is July 31st at 11:59 pm. While you’re welcome to move out earlier if needed, please remember that your lease responsibilities remain in place through the end of the lease term. In accordance with your lease agreement, all residents must vacate their apartments on or before July 31st. Unfortunately, late move-outs cannot be accommodated, and remaining in the unit past this date may result in holdover status as outlined in California Law. Please also note that moving out early does not release you from your lease obligations, including rent through the full lease term. If you have any questions or need clarification, our team is here and happy to help.
What to Turn In
Please be prepared to turn in the items below during the move out. It’s important you turn these into an SBC Office Team Member to ensure we have received them. Each missing item is a charge. · Resident Key Fob ($60) · Resident Apartment Key ($60) · Resident Mailbox Key ($30) · Garage Clicker ($60) · Lift Key ($60)
Your Last Installment
July 1st will be your last monthly rent payment with SBC. You will also notice you have 2 months of electricity on your July statement as well. This is because your electricity charges begin 1 month after move in, and therefore your billing cycle has been 1 month behind. To further explain, your first electricity bill will be in September, paying for August (prorated according to your move in date). This means in July, you will be charged for June and July. Please note, if you move out sooner than your lease end date, electricity will continue throughout the lease period. Your Final Account Statement will be emailed to you in the coming weeks after your lease end date. This will include any move-out charges (you hopefully avoided!) or will show you owe $0 (Great job!!).
